The Sin Part II
Stranded on the dark road
He screams in agony
His only wish is that it would all end
Releasing him from the pain that holds him
The road is at its end
He knows what he has orchestrated
His screams are heard by the girl
Screams of pain and dreadfulness
As the girl approaches
The cries of a child ring in his ears
He sees the child lying deathly still
A look of morbid sadness on its face
The girl reaches out to him
But he instead picks up the dead child
Crying, he runs away with the child
Knowing it was his fault from the start
He will never forgive himself
Nor will the girl

the sin being abortion, I presume? Very poignant, stirring and creepy, too.
It wouldn't have to be abortion...it could be a severed relationship of any kind; but either way, I agree-
Hard hitting and reflective.
i sense lonliness and abandonment and a bit of fear. fear that if things turn out wrong...the absent "he" will have the wrong on his shoulders. the if you're not here any something happens..
or maybe the fear is trust.
No ths had to do with a past experince....It is true with poetic license. The absent he has been gone for 12 yrs.
