They are huge and sprawling
Living in a town called suburbia
The Jones’ have moved in
And things are going up

The expanse is grand
On the largest cookie cutter scale
Bricks, statues, and perfectly laid sod
Pools sunk deep for the effect
Streets named for
Famous French buildings
Mailboxes line up in perfect succession
All of them white and locked
Oh the gated community

There's a suburb near us (not TOO near) that has a city ordinance that tells residents how long they can leave their garage doors open- I mean C'MON people!!! Pull the silver spoon out of your arse! Loosen up!
I guess if you don't want to obey the ordinance you don't have to live there....
